SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a highly motivated and hands-on Trade Support & Quality Assurance Analyst to join a Trading Operations Team in Miami, FL.
This position requireson-site presence5 days a week to ensure smooth daily operations, provide technical and trade execution support, and facilitate problem resolution for traders. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment.
The Trading Operations team is responsible for all front-line customer support. The applicant must have meticulous attention to detail. Trading Operations is also responsible for testing all client interfaces and business functionality of trading systems.
What You'll Do:
  • Supporting real-time trading services to on-floor options members on the Exchange to ensure superior customer service and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Processing member requests for local networking and desktop support.
  • Facilitating solutions for firm technologists and external vendor requests.
  • Interacting directly with trading floor members and member firms' trading desks to provide all operational support.
  • Coordinating member firms' technical staff for firm configurations of trading sessions and networking connectivity.
  • Maintaining and completing all daily Exchange Operations.
  • Ensuring all software issues are reported and handled efficiently per the Exchange software defect remediation process.
  • Developing and performing application certification with external clients to ensure smooth transition of new features being enabled in the production environment.
  • Providing timely resolution of technical and user-specific issues and requests.
  • Engaging in continuous process evaluation and improvement.
  • Assisting Trading Operations Department Manager with Industry-based calls.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Industry trends and their impact on trade support.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to proactively participate in the end-to-end system testing process within a fast-paced trading environment. Candidates are required to develop a deep understanding of Business System Requirement documents and translate these concepts into automated production test scenarios.
  • Participating in the Exchange Quality Assurance program.
  • Developing, authoring and troubleshooting comprehensive test scenarios which are validated against the testing system.
  • Proactively participating in the review of business requirements for the purpose of developing test case scenarios that ensure complete test coverage of application functionality.
  • Participating in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology.
  • Troubleshooting technical and functional issues based on Exchange Rules and system design.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, IT/Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge/prior use of JIRA tracking software is recommended.
  • Options and/or equities industry background is recommended.
  • Experience testing trade execution systems at an exchange or for an ECN/ATS is recommended.
  • Strong team based and customer facing verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Required to be a self-motivated, patient, dynamic, organized and responsible team player.
  • Function at a high level and prioritize critical tasks in a dynamically changing environment.
  • Possess a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Must have the capacity to thoroughly understand the Software Quality Assurance testing process and best practices.
  • Must possess the aptitude for automated testing of a platform in an integrated testing environment, as well as testing user-interface and transaction-processing systems.
