Job Description: We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a full-time design and detailing career. The CAD Designer will be responsible for designing various types of material handling equipment. They will aid in the design and production of drawings to manufacture standard and specialized machined components in accordance with customer specifications. This role includes supporting the manufacturing processes with design, bills of material, and quality concerns, from concept to production implementation and shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform design layouts and drafting on CAD systems as needed.
  • Select and specify purchased parts and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing and sales
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and functionality

Skills Needed:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D design software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the manufacturing of metal products is a plus.

Knowledge Required:
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and design techniques.

Ability to Implement:
