Job description

Job Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Technimark's computer systems, both hardware and software, to ensure optimal performance. This role involves coordinating with end-users and management to determine reporting and query needs, using reporting software to create and modify reports, and automating tasks and systems integrations where necessary. The IT Systems Administrator will also analyze data to select the most feasible and economical methods of achieving desired results, submit change requests to vendors, and develop detailed documentation for reference and training. This role will work closely with Technimark’s Juarez locations. An ability to work in the US and Mexico, including a passport to cross the border, is preferred but not required.

Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
Managing and maintaining Cisco network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Cisco CCNA preferred.
Managing and maintaining Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems .
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), experience using other ERPs (Oracle, Dynamic, IQMS, SAP) and database structures (Oracle and SQL server).
Four-year degree in an Information Technology field required OR Two-year degree in an Information Technology field with two years of practical experience in an Information Technology field required.
Strong communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with IT and Operations teams.
Must have the ability to work as part of a cross functional team to achieve operational requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate with end-users and management to determine reporting and query needs.
Use reporting software or other query tools to create and modify reports and queries that help users be more efficient in their jobs.
Study current systems and/or develop/recommend new systems and procedures to devise workable sequences.
Help automate tasks and systems integrations where there is a need.
Analyze data and select the most feasible and economical method of achieving desired results.
Submit change requests to vendors and monitor status where needed.
Develop flow process charts, diagrams, and documentation in detailed form for reference and training.
