ENGINEER V – SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Senior)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required, ability to obtain TS preferred
OVERVIEW
Integrity Communications Solutions (Integrity) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (SE V) to support the Command and Control (C2) Team on a Department of Defense (DoD) satellite communications (SATCOM) ground systems program.
The C2 team supports system-level command and control integration activities, including requirements, architecture development, interface alignment, and cross-segment interoperability. This role combines hands-on systems engineering with cross-team technical coordination and integration leadership.
The selected candidate will support delivery of resilient SATCOM Ground capabilities supporting operational mission execution and future warfighter needs while coordinating across multiple IPTs in an Agile and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Senior-level systems engineering experience supporting complex DoD, aerospace, or mission-critical programs
  • Experience supporting system integration, interface management, and technical baseline activities
  • Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements, integration, verification, and risk management
  • Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple engineering teams or stakeholders
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and briefing skills
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting SATCOM, Ground Segment, or C2 programs
  • Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Experience with IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tools
  • Experience supporting engineering reviews and integration activities
  • Experience facilitating technical working groups or technical interchange meetings

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Command and Control (C2) systems engineering and integration activities across multiple IPTs
  • Contribute to development and alignment of:
    • Requirements
    • Architectures
    • Interfaces/APIs
    • Technical roadmaps
  • Coordinate with engineering, cyber, integration, and operational teams to resolve cross-system issues and dependencies
  • Support technical trade studies, architecture evaluations, and integration planning activities
  • Contribute to engineering reviews and technical baseline activities (e.g., SRR, SFR, PERB)
  • Facilitate or support technical working groups and integration forums
  • Develop engineering artifacts supporting integration, traceability, and verification activities
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering process improvements
  • Provide technical recommendations and integration support to program leadership and customer stakeholders

  • Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
