Job Summary:
Yext is the enterprise agentic marketing platform that provides infrastructure for brands to compete in the AI landscape. The Systems Engineer will design and maintain the foundational infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the platform.
Responsibilities:
• Develop sophisticated systems that automate the building, testing, and operation of our infrastructure so that we can focus our attention on the things that matter.
• Work with talented software teams to optimize performance, and increase reliability of our applications, ensuring our infrastructure doesn’t skip a beat.
• Build comprehensive & secure self service functionalities that lets engineering teams move faster.
• Design and build our tools for monitoring and alerting to administer and comprehend increasing numbers of services.
• Define a set of standards that services should meet, and implement the capabilities to measure and score us on these.
• Diagnose and solve problems across the application, network, and infrastructure stacks in a predominantly Linux environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Software Engineering (SWE), DevOps, Platform, or related role.
• Proven experience in designing, building, testing, monitoring, and automating secure distributed systems and networks.
• Possesses an automation-first mindset when developing and testing infrastructure.
• Strong interest in Platform Engineering, applying a customer and product-centric approach to building internal platforms.
• Enjoys knowledge sharing and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar.
