Job description

SUMMARY: The Computer Systems Technician I will be responsible for providing company wide computer hardware/software support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Works on-site with consistent attendance.
• Maintain all office computer hardware/software directly and with contractor support as required.
• Install, test, and repair of computers and peripheral equipment.
• Install and maintain software.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware/software issues and provide support to satisfy end user requests.
• Assist in the implementation and completion of computer-related projects.
• Maintain appropriate documentation.
• Assist IT team as requested including QA.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills to present technical and business information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent computer hardware skills, including PC and peripheral troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent software skills, including Windows operating systems, Networking, and Microsoft Office products including 365 & OS deployment
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Active Directory- Familiarity
• Microsoft Exchange/ Office 365
• VoIP phone systems. Ring Central, Genesys Cloud- Preferred
• Scripting and command line interface experience (PowerShell, etc.)- Preferred
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write effectively in English. Ability to interpret documents such as plan documents, memos, letters, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, meeting notes, project documentation, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively address or resolve customer service issues within guidelines of the position.
Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning and analytical ability, including:
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to exercise reason and logic to resolve practical problems and create effective solutions.
• Ability to analyze all relevant information and a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid, class C license in state working with no adverse driving record.
