• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status by utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and conducting clinical interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting all interventions and outcomes in EHR systems.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, empowering them with coping strategies and tools to manage their symptoms effectively.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, effectively managing emergencies while ensuring client safety and confidentiality.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing challenges related to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid mental health license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York State.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster relationships with diverse populations.
• Competency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
