Job description

Sodexo is seeking a 2nd-shift Environmental Services/Custodial Manager 2 for St. David’s Medical Center located in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have EVS experience in healthcare, along with strong computer skills, and people management.

St. David’s Medical Center is a 371-bed acute care full-service hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation facility providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment across a wide range of specialties.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.


Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $56270 per year - $72820 per year
