What You Will Do:

As a Production Test Engineer II you’ll help to influence test strategies, architectures, systems and transition to production by using data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies. You’ll also help to validate and ensure compliance of the prime hardware to technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Helping to validate new or modified test equipment for production use, ensuring accuracy of work instructions and that test equipment and software meet product-specific test requirements
  • Assisting with analysis of predictive metrics, failure mode and test yields
  • Assisting with preliminary investigations for problem resolution
  • Participating in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment
  • Assisting in delivering technical training to production test specialists and metrology personnel
  • Availability to cover additional shifts including some weekend work 

Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM.  RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or production test environments
  • Experience with data analysis or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with electronics/electrical engineering, basic mechanical engineering or basic computer programming 
  • Experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment  
  • Preferred college degrees include: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
