Job description

Summary

Under direct supervision, perform routine administrative duties in support of clinical research studies.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Organize study participant charts and files. Distribute charts and files to appropriate location.

  • Order and maintain log of stipend checks and/or gift certificates to be distributed to study participants.

  • Generate letters to be sent to study participants.

  • Under direct guidance, assist with coordination of basic study activities.

  • Accurately enter research data into specified programs or databases.

  • Compile outreach packets, recruitment and specimen collection kits.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
  • Knowledge of quality control, customer service standards, information management, procedural process, and recordkeeping.

  • Computer, technical, interpersonal, oral communication, listening, and patience skills

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: High school or equivalent.

Minimum Required Experience: No experience required

Required Certification/Licensure(s): CITI Training within 90 days of hire

Physical Requirements

Work involves light exertion transporting materials or equipment but not for sustained time.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
