ASRC Federal Summer Internship at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City, OK

ASRC Federal Advanced Research (AFAR) has a summer opening for an Engineering or Computer Science Intern in support of our FAA engineering program for the Second Level Engineering (SLE) Automation and Tools Team.  You will find the subject matter interesting and a team-oriented environment that is collaborative. Responsibilities:

  • Provide software and/or hardware support on a variety of projects
  • Utilize testing tools
  • Present project results to the team
  • Provide weekly status updates

Requirements:

 

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

On-site presence will be as required by the FAA.

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Interest in Aviation
  • Knowledge of the National Aerospace System is a plus
  • Ability to pass an FAA background investigation

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Students in their Junior or Senior year are preferred with at least 48 credit hours
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an ABET accredited university
