Summary Description:

Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, is looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to take on a critical role to enhance our Quality team.

As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor quality systems, data analytics, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to analyze product and manufacturing data, develop AI-assisted tools and workflows, improve customer requirement management systems, and support initiatives that drive product quality, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of product and component parametric databases to support engineering and quality initiatives.
  • Perform data analysis and statistical evaluations to identify trends, process improvements, and opportunities for quality enhancement.
  • Assist in developing scripts, dashboards, and AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Improve and maintain customer requirement databases, engineering records, and quality documentation systems.
  • Organize and maintain Office 365 SharePoint document management and data-sharing portals.
  • Support quality metrics reporting, management reviews, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical disciplines.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and data interpretation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in semiconductor technology, electronics manufacturing, quality systems, or data analytics.
  • Experience with Python, JMP, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools, automation, or scripting is highly desirable.
