As a Research Operations Specialist Internย on SAP'sย Global Survey Operationsย team, you will help power SAP's survey researchย ecosystem. You will be central to enabling efficient,ย high-qualityย survey research at scale-supporting platform governance, data accuracy, dashboarding, and operational workflows that serve research teams across the company. This role is ideal for a curious,ย detail-orientedย problem solver passionate aboutย research, operational excellence, and supporting a global community of research practitioners.ย ย ย 

Your primary responsibilities will include:ย 

Survey Operations & Governanceย 

  • Review and approve daily ARM requests; ensure accuracy ofย Qualtrics roles andย follow-upย on pendingย approvals.ย ย 

  • Support user management, permissions, lifecycle management, naming conventions, and compliance checks.ย 

Platform Operations & Reportingย 

  • Maintain and update theย Survey Overview Dashboardย weekly, monthly,ย quarterly, and annually; help streamline and automate reporting workflows.ย 

  • Provide support for dashboard development inย Qualtrics andย assistย withย Work Zoneย and wiki page updates.ย 

Communications & Intakeย 

  • Prepare and distribute theย bimonthly Surveys by the Numbers newsletter, highlighting research impact stories andย SAP wideย surveyย metrics.ย 

  • Triage and categorize inbox requests for platform access, permissions,ย methodologyย questions, alternative tool guidance, and research consultations.ย 

Cross Functionalย Collaborationย 

  • Partner with platform admins, research partners, satellite team owners, and operational stakeholders across global and regional teams.ย 

What You Bring:ย

Education & Experienceย 

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or ongoing) in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Survey Research, Marketing, or related social sciences.ย 

  • Prior experience in survey research,ย project management,ย and dataย analysis.ย 

Technical Skillsย 

  • Required:ย Qualtrics XM Suiteย expertiseย across dashboards, survey design, text analytics, workflows, and automation.ย 

  • Familiarity with BI & analytics tools (Excel/VBA, SPSS, SAS) and data transformation methods.ย 

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib/Seaborn.ย

  • Strongย problem-solvingย and synthesis abilities, with comfort building storylines and presentingย findings.ย
