The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for Part Time Computer Technician in the IT Department. The incumbent performs functions related to computer system support to include computer hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and repair. In addition, the Computer Technician facilitates the needs of all city employees by completing requests submitted through the IT work request system and is assigned projects or to a project team. High school graduate with A+ certification or equivalent experience required. This position is extremely technical and requires previous experience. Software skills required: basic 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable. A technical associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting Salary: $16.3020/hr. - No benefits.
