Job description

PM Shift Lead Bench Technician

$25.00-$30.00/hr DOE | Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM-11:30 PM

Ready to take the next step in your aerospace career?

We're seeking an experienced Lead Bench Technician to oversee evening production while performing hands-on inspection, testing, teardown, and repair of aircraft heat exchanger components. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys leading by example while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Pay
  • $25.00-$30.00/hour DOE
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • 3:30 PM-11:30 PM
Responsibilities
  • Lead the evening production team and help ensure nightly production goals are achieved.
  • Keep technicians, welders, and OEM technicians on task throughout the shift.
  • Perform pre-testing, teardown, inspections, and component evaluations.
  • Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), work instructions, and repair specifications.
  • Measure parts to required tolerances.
  • Complete testing and repair processes according to established procedures.
  • Assist throughout the shop as needed to support production schedules.
  • Communicate production concerns and quality issues with operations management.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment. 
Qualifications
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, repair station, or industrial repair experience.
  • Previous lead, supervisor, or team lead experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, work instructions, and safety documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to pass required drug/alcohol screenings for this safety-sensitive position.
