About the Role:
Washler Garbage & Recycling in Garrett, IN is looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Working Supervisor to join our team! In this hands-on leadership role, you'll guide a customer service team while staying actively involved in daily operations — making a real impact in the community we serve.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support customer service staff while actively participating in day-to-day operations
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests via phone, email, and in-person
  • Train, coach, and mentor customer service team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to resolve service issues and scheduling concerns
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and process billing or service changes as needed
  • Identify process improvements to enhance overall customer experience
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in waste management, utilities, or a related field
  • 2+ years prior supervisory lead experience required
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
