Job description

POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides computer project technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of computer systems used for financial, clinical and administrative systems. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner and in compliance with Departmental and Community First Health Plans policies and procedures. Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers and other Community First Health Plans staff. Performs other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation form and in the Community First Health Plans policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data processing, mathematical, business or a related field is required. Work experience may be substituted for college requirement. Six years of programming and system analysis experience is required. Must be proficient in at least one computer system language and on data management methodology on at least one or more of the computer platforms used at Community First Health Plans. Language requirements may vary, based on current needs. Working knowledge using one or more of each of the following: Languages: SQL, .net, VB, C# Databases: Current versions of MS SQL Server Software: MS SQL Server: Management Studio/SSIS/SSRS, MS Office Operating Systems: Windows
