Indotronix is seeking an : Onsite Job - Systems Software Test/DevSecOps Engineer Level 3 Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL Shift: First Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) OT/DOT Expected?: Possible OT Travel: Up to 10% Domestic Travel Bachelor's Degree: Must Active Secret Clearance: Required Job Description: Supports the development, integration, testing, and verification of software-intensive systems in a variety of test environments using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. Participates in software design reviews, develops test specifications and infrastructure, and executes both manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, interfaces, and infrastructure. Collaborates with software developers and test engineers to analyze system performance and ensure software quality in integrated environments. Position Responsibilities: * Utilize automated testing and evaluation techniques for software-intensive systems across multiple test environments. * Participate in Agile software development, software design reviews, and peer reviews. * Develop test specifications, test infrastructure, and automated test solutions. * Execute manual and automated tests and analyze software implementation within integrated environments. * Test system capabilities including interfaces, infrastructure, messaging, monitoring, recording, playback, and failover processing. * Support testing activities for command and control software systems and operational environments. * Apply basic DevSecOps principles to software testing and integration. * Collaborate with software developers and other test engineers to resolve issues and improve system quality. * Support testing efforts while working 100% onsite. * Travel domestically up to 10% as required. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry. * 7+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years with a Master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD. * Experience with automated software testing and verification of software requirements. * Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. * Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. * Ability to work effectively in integrated software test environments. * Security+ certification (or equivalent) required within 60 days of starting (preferred at start). * Active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a DevSecOps environment. * Experience supporting software integration, testing, and verification for complex systems. * Familiarity with command and control (C2) software testing and infrastructure validation. Education / Experience: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with 7+ years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years of related engineering experience.
