Job description

Deluxe, a leading payments and data company is excited to offer summer paid internships in the Atlanta area to undergraduate students seeking a challenging, meaningful and supportive experience with our technology group. You will be introduced to modern engineering practices and strategies in addition to career counseling and professional development opportunities.

Our forward-looking technology department will provide you with valuable learning opportunities as you share ideas, creativity and curiosity to maximize your experience. The experience will include:

  • Participation in 'modern engineering' concepts, including AI Incorporation, Human Centered Design and Product Innovation.
  • Contributing to technology transformation strategies.
  • Use of Agile Development Methodology.
  • An understanding of departments that work in tandem with technology
  • Uncovering drivers for positive corporate culture and enhanced communication throughout the organization.
  • Professional development through peer counseling, mentorship and corporate leadership interactions.

Program Overview:

  • 10 week paid assignment.
  • In person orientation on Day 1, including a tour of the site, overview of the company and welcome message from senior leaders.
  • Professional development from dedicated program manager and peer mentors.
  • Small, selective program that allows for more focused attention and support.
  • Interaction with leaders across multiple business units and departments.
  • Resume review and LinkedIn clinic.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in progress in Computer Science or related field
  • Some technology-centric coursework completed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sound analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset
  • Basic understanding of software development methodology
  • Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word and Excel
