The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team and help drive Alveole's growth across North America. In this role, you'll generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, engage potential clients, and create qualified pipeline for our Account Executive team. You'll work closely with an experienced sales team and be directly supported by one of Alveole's co-founders, who remains actively involved in growing the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and other outreach channels
  • Generate interest in Alveole's products and services and qualify potential clients
  • Schedule meetings and create opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Research and identify prospective customers that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in a CRM platform
  • Consistently achieve and exceed outreach and pipeline generation targets
  • Collaborate with teammates and sales leadership to refine prospecting strategies
  • Continuously develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and market understanding
You're the Ideal Fit If You HaveMust-Haves
  • At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer success, hospitality, retail, fundraising, recruiting, or similar)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidence and resilience when engaging with new people and building relationships

  • Previous experience in B2B sales or business development through an internship, co-op, or full-time role

  • Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales

  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales prospecting tools

  • Familiarity with tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms

  • Experience working in sustainability, technology, or commercial real estate environments

Location & Work Setup

Location: In person at our Montreal HQ four days a week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays can be worked remotely.

Type of contract: Permanent, Full-time (40h/week)

OTE: $70,000-$80,000 CAD

  • Effectuer de la prospection sortante par telephone, courriel et autres canaux de contact

  • Planifier des rencontres et generer des opportunites pour l'equipe Account Executive

  • Au moins 6 mois d'experience dans un role en contact direct avec des clients ou utilisateurs (vente, service a la clientele, recrutement, hotellerie, commerce de detail, collecte de fonds ou autre domaine similaire)

  • Excellentes habiletes de communication, a l'ecrit comme a l'oral

  • Aisance a creer de nouvelles relations et capacite a perseverer face aux refus
