Warehouse Materials Handler/Forklift Operator


Location: Missouri City, TX 77489
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract | $18/hr
Schedule: 8–10 hours/day, 5–6 days per week (overtime may be required)


Position Summary:

Seeking a Warehouse Materials Handler to join our team in Missouri City, TX. The ideal candidate will be safety-driven, reliable, and experienced with forklift operations in both dry and cold environments. You will handle materials efficiently, support production lines, and ensure smooth inventory flow throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, including forklifts (sit-down and stand-up).

  • Control the receipt, storage, and distribution of ingredients, production materials, and finished goods.

  • Load/unload trucks, replenish workstations, and move product to designated storage areas.

  • Perform cycle counts, record inventory, and maintain accurate stock locations in freezer and warehouse areas.

  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following GMP and Safety guidelines.

  • Support other plant operations and perform additional tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or Materials Handler (in freezer/cold storage environments preferred).

  • Equipment: Skilled in operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

  • Technical: Strong computer and math skills; experience using inventory scanners.
