A Day in the Life:
The Elevator Operator IV is responsible for performing all operations functions relating to the elevator, control room, weighing/grading, housekeeping and rail loading activities. Employee may also be responsible for assisting in performing routine maintenance of equipment.
Position Details:
8am - 4pm, M-F
Pay: Starts at $25.00 an hour, plus overtime, train load bonus, and annual bonus
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Participate in safety programs and inspections
  • Control room duties, which include continuous monitoring of equipment, processes via computer monitored programs
  • Perform all tasks relating to receiving and blending of grain
  • Work outdoors in the elevator loading/unloading trucks and rail cars
  • Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Operate mobile equipment and properly utilize miscellaneous hand tools
  • Perform weighing and grading of all commodities and input customer information into One Weigh software
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Perform routine housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in grain elevator (1-2 years preferred)
  • Ability to work safely
  • Must demonstrate dependability and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Computer skill experience is desirable
