Position Summary

The care team Operator/Scheduler, responsible for handling incoming calls and scheduling appointments, is the first member of the care team to interact with patients. Dispatchers function as switchboard operators in directing calls to the appropriate department or care team operator.

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Requires some computer skills (Windows based) and telephone experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office a plus.
  • Demonstrates abilities for working in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Ability to strongly embrace and personify the mission of Lawndale Christian Health Center.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact with a diverse group of health care professionals.
