Job description


This position reports directly to the Head Custodian, Building Principal and/or Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Business Operations. Applicants must apply online and have the following qualifications:

 Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician
 Demonstrated aptitude for completing assigned performance responsibilities
 Must possess a current, valid, state of Illinois Driver's license
 Demonstrated knowledge of various computer operating systems
 Must possess High School Diploma
 Previous experience as a Custodian is a plus
 Ability to complete custodial services using various applicable machinery
 Strong interpersonal and communications skills
 Commitment to the mission of the school within the community
 Understanding of the public school role within the community
 Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate
