Job description

Job Summary:
CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™, providing technology and infrastructure for innovators in the AI space. The Data Center Technician will be responsible for maintaining the availability and reliability of data center operations, conducting diagnostics and repairs, and providing technical support to ensure mission-critical infrastructure remains operational.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Train internal teams
• Develop documentation
• Provide technical support to data center teams
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
• Maintain inventory
• Assemble and install equipment
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing diagnostic and repair tasks
• Ability to maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces, including under-floor areas or on ladders, to access server racks
• Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, including handling small hardware components and cables
• Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including participation in a rotating on-call shift
• Experience in data center environments
• Experience with computer networking
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
