As a Services Engineer II, Subscriber, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, operation, and optimization of VoLTE and IMS network environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of subscriber services by managing SLAs, troubleshooting complex network issues, and supporting the evolution of LTE and 5G core technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise in VoLTE, IMS architecture, and IP networking, along with the ability to operate in a dynamic, real-time service environment.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

Design and deploy VoLTE network solutions to meet current and future business requirements.
Operate and maintain VoLTE deployments by monitoring alarms, KPIs, and logs to ensure optimal system performance.
Perform routine maintenance of system software, hardware, licenses, and certificates to ensure service continuity.
Project manage small to medium VoLTE-related initiatives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex and escalated customer issues involving VoLTE call flows, network systems, and applications.
Analyze and enhance network security systems and protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of VoLTE call flows, audio quality issues, and network performance problems.
Manage internal and external escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication throughout the process.
Respond to system and network incidents with urgency, ensuring minimal service disruption.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced, real-time service environment while maintaining focus on team objectives.
Develop detailed technical designs, operating procedures, methods of procedure (MOPs), and test plans.
Execute MOPs and test plans for new product deployments prior to production release.
Coordinate, execute, and document testing efforts involving vendors and end users.
Provide mentoring and advanced technical training to operational personnel as needed.

In addition to that, we require:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge of 3GPP IMS core standards.
Strong understanding of VoIP systems and IP protocols with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience with WAN and LAN technologies including BGP, MPLS, T1, and VRF.
Advanced system administration knowledge in Linux and Windows environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

Experience working as a VoLTE Network Engineer with strong knowledge of IMS protocols and components.
Experience with troubleshooting tools such as NetScout protocol analyzer, SolarWinds, and service assurance platforms.
Experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV), VMware, or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
Strong project management skills.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted and up to 120 lbs with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and work in confined spaces as needed. This role requires availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and participate in a 24/7 support environment.
