CAD Administrator - JLL

What this job involves:JLL is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Administrator to support our strategic partnership with Bayer. This role manages computer-aided design systems, maintains accurate facility drawings, and provides technical support for space planning and facility management initiatives across Bayer's portfolio. The position contributes to JLL's business objectives by ensuring precise facility documentation and supporting workplace optimization goals for one of the world's premier Life Sciences companies. This opportunity offers the chance to work with cutting-edge facility management technology while making a direct impact on critical infrastructure decisions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Maintain and update CAD drawings for Bayer facilities using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software while ensuring compliance with JLL standards and Bayer's specific requirements

Collaborate with JLL project managers and Bayer stakeholders to create floor plans, space allocation drawings, and occupancy layouts for workplace strategy initiatives

Maintain comprehensive drawing libraries and update facility databases with current space information, including room numbers, square footage calculations, and departmental assignments

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and facility managers to incorporate design changes and renovations into existing CAD files

Perform regular audits of CAD files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards

Create and maintain drawing templates, title blocks, and layer standards specific to the Bayer account requirements

Interface with internal teams and client stakeholders while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in CAD administration

Minimum 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and space management software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with facility management databases

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities

Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and client stakeholders

Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing client requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting Life Sciences or pharmaceutical facilities

Knowledge of workplace planning principles and space standards

Familiarity with JLL systems and processes

Professional certification in CAD software applications

Experience with document management systems and version control protocols
