Work Location - Richmond (City) - 760

Hiring Range - Salary commensurate with experience. Hiring range is $30.00-$35.00/hourly.

Full Time or Part Time - Part Time

Wage employees are restricted to working approximately 29 hours per week or less, not to exceed 1,500 hours annually.

The Respiratory Therapy Skills Laboratory Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Therapy Program's skills laboratory by maintaining laboratory readiness, preparing equipment and instructional materials, supporting student learning activities, and assisting with equipment maintenance and inventory management. This position helps ensure a safe, organized, and effective laboratory environment that promotes student success and supports program accreditation requirements.

Special Assignments - May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications - High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in a healthcare, laboratory, simulation, technical support, educational, or respiratory care-related environment. Demonstrated ability to organize equipment, manage inventory, and follow detailed procedures. Ability to lift, transport, and move respiratory therapy equipment and supplies. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
