Job Summary:
The Member Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for members, visitors, and customers. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting individuals with the use of the computer lab, supporting training and testing activities, and performing a variety of administrative duties to ensure efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working with computers and individuals of varying technical skill levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers with computer lab access, login procedures, online training, testing platforms, and general computer navigation.
  • Provide basic technical assistance and troubleshoot common computer or software issues.
  • Monitor the computer lab to ensure a productive, safe, and orderly environment.
  • Register members for training courses, certifications, and other Safety Council services.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding programs, schedules, and membership services.
  • Maintain member records and update information in the organization's database.
  • Prepare training materials, sign-in sheets, certificates, and other administrative documents.
  • Coordinate classroom and computer lab readiness prior to scheduled courses.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the computer lab is clean, organized, and operational.
  • Assist instructors and staff with administrative support as needed.
  • Follow organizational policies regarding confidentiality, customer service, and workplace safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
