Full Time Dental Assistant, X-ray License Required

Chevy Chase Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry (not a surgical office) has a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant or someone who is just starting out and is eager to learn and absorb all the new exciting technology we offer. We are looking for someone that is a candidate with exceptional references, reliable, punctual, willing to learn, can multitask, team player with strong values and work ethic. We are a specialty restorative office- Prosthodontics.
This is a Full-time position, M-Th (7:30am to 5:00 pm) F (7:30am to 2:30 pm)

Requirements for the Dental Assistant include

  • Active Dental Radiation Technologist License in Maryland (Xray License in Maryland)

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Dental: candidate must have at least>1 year

Responsibilities for Dental Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.
  • Prepares and takes down treatment rooms, instruments and tray for dental procedures.
  • Exposes and mounts dental diagnostic x-rays using Digital X-ray system
  • Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
  • Records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.
  • Records treatment information in patient records.
  • Dental supply management, Lab cases, lab procedures
