Job description

Bamboo Family Clinic is an ever expanding and growing family practice located near downtown Henderson. We are seeking multiple qualified candidates for our Assistive Personnel with lab experience and at least 2 years of experience in a clinical environment. You must provide exceptional patient care and be well versed in multiple insurance online portals. This position requires extensive clinical knowledge and you must be able to transverse a multitude of computer based applications without much oversight.
Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus!
You will be required to assist Practitioners in providing quality customer service while attending to both the patient and practitioner's needs. Duties include recording and updating medical records, running routine procedures such as:
Expected Duties and Responsibilities for our Assistive Personnel & Phlebotomist Specialist:
• Blood Draws
• In-office testing includes but is not limited to, EKG, PKU, Hgb, COVID, Flu, Strep, and Urine Dip
• Administer Adult & Pediatric vaccines
• Data Entry in Kareo System
• Cleaning Exam Rooms
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
• Data entry of medical records and patient information
• Complete lab slips per provider's request
• Assist provider with other tasks as needed.
• Upload labs and completed testing into the patient's file
Required Qualifications:
• Experience performing in-office testing listed above
• 2 years of experience in a clinic setting
• Experience administering Pediatric vaccinations
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification
• Nevada Web-IZ Type 1, Type 2
• Valid CPR Certification
• Valid Lab Assistant Certificate
• Knowledge of Lab Policies & Procedures
• Must have a current negative TB test.
