Job Description
This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Graduation from high school; some college or Associate's degree preferred.
2. Experience with computer hardware and software is desirable.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with college faculty, staff and students.
4. Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
5. Ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others and communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Answer voice mails, emails, and phone calls.
2. Contact students and faculty via email and phone to set-up appointments and test proctoring.
3. Prepare and handle sensitive information and testing materials in a confidential and professional manner.
4. Maintain check-in procedures.
5. Administer college and national testing when testing.
6. Monitor lab equipment.
7. Follow computer lab policies and procedures
8. Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC.
9. Maintain computer lab schedules.
10. Maintain the cleanliness of the lab.
11. Monitor computer lab supplies.
12. Maintain computers and printers in the lab.
