THIS POSITION IS HYBRID/ONSITE IN SCOTTDALE, PA

I. Job Overview and General Purpose

The Information Systems Business Intelligence Analyst supports the organization by delivering data-driven solutions to business challenges. This role leverages the ERP system and business intelligence tools to develop reports and analytics that improve operational insight and organizational effectiveness.


II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Serves as a role model of excellent customer service by responding constructively to the needs of all those they interact with daily on behalf of the organization.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements
  3. Build and maintain reports and inquiry pages within the ERP system
  4. Design and deliver advanced analytics of financial and job performance data with use of Microsoft Power BI.
  5. Support ERP processes and business needs that arise
  6. Maintain security settings and access for all system functions and end users
  7. Assist with helpdesk support
  8. Other functions as assigned

III. Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in this or a related information
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP software, database administration, and Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI); Knowledge software interoperability and data integration with the use of REST APIs; Ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate hardware/software solutions; Ability to document technical instructions for system applications use; Working knowledge of computer operating systems' administration and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), security procedures and protocols, network topography/operation and technical field support; Familiar with basic Linux operations.
  • Planning and Organization: Equitable task delegation; Promote employee engagement
  • Problem analysis: Identify complex problems and review related information to evaluate options and develop and implement solutions.
  • Critical Thinking: Use logic and reasoning to plan, develop, test and implement potential solutions to problems.
  • Judgement: Ability to reach logical conclusions based on established evidence; Exhibit a high level of confidence.
  • Drive: Demonstrate personal accomplishments and a desire to excel; Set and maintain ambitious standards for achievement; Take ownership of position and decisions; Ability to learn and support new hardware, software and operating systems; Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
