Information System Security Officer – CBL Battle Lab Facility

Summit Federal Services, LLC (SFS) headquartered in Oakland, Maryland, is a rapidly growing woman‑owned Small Business and HUBZone company with a record of performance providing acquisition, business process, training, IT, administrative and security services to federal agencies.

We are looking for an Information System Security Officer to provide support to the CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. All work will be performed onsite.

  • Baseline certification: upon hire must already possess (and be maintaining) at least one active DoD‑approved baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC² Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), GSLC, or CISSP.
  • Computing Environment (CE) certification: on day one must provide proof of certification as either ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting DoD systems accreditation, certification, and authorization processes (e.g., DIACAP, RMF).
  • Skill at assessing & mitigating risk in information systems; performing compliance auditing; developing and maintaining DoD information systems accreditation documentation; and coordinating & leading configuration control board activities.
  • Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
