Job description

Our IT team is expanding and looking to add an IT Technician. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

IT Technician will be responsible for all computers/laptops setup, maintenance and support issues for Minth Tennessee International. Evaluates and resolves user problems as first point of contact; identifies and obtains appropriate resources for the resolution of complex problems; corrects routine hardware problems by making minor repairs to computer equipment, studies trends and makes long-term/major recommendations for the future. Other duties include:

  • Instructs computer system users in the use of computer equipment and applications; answers questions and assists in resolving problems with application use (MS office suite, Lync, PloyComm)
  • Facilitates setup of new hardware/software; installs, tests, and monitors the operation of computer hardware and software; configures hardware and software to meet user's needs
  • Basic LANs/WANs knowledge
  • Maintains various records, procedures and documentation for computer systems and software including asset management tracking and inventory of all company hardware
  • Assists in the maintenance and installation of telephony, data, and video cabling throughout the corporate facilities
  • Occasionally serves as the primary contact for response to emergency situations or critical problems with the technology or facilities, including events that occur during off-hours, 24/7 support (on-call rotation)
  • Conducts periodic check-ins and establishes strong working relationships with office associates


To be a qualified candidate you must have the following:

  • 2-year degree or applicable IT/IS Certification
  • Outstanding attitude with a strong emphasis on customer service
  • Proficient in Apple OSX & Windows Operating Systems, installation, maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting
  • Ability to communicate to end users with varying levels of understanding of computer systems and software
