Job description

Position Overview:

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who will apply their skills to lead internal product development and customer integration and adoption activities. This will be achieved through the analysis and support of sensor systems at each stage in the product lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.

Location:

This position is located in the Syracuse, NY office with the potential for hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of algorithms and analysis methods and tools for radar, direction finding, or other surveillance sensor systems
  • Assist in the development of system architecture for new hardware designs
  • Plan and design test events in support of sensor performance validation
  • Provide hands-on, in-field support of test events
  • Author test reports and draw data-driven conclusions and recommendations based on test results

  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Radar and/or communication systems using software-defined radios, custom hardware, and/or other COTS devices
    • Sensor performance modeling and simulation
    • Digital signal processing
    • Analytical programming platforms such as MATLAB or Python
  • Experience with fast-paced integration and test schedules and environments
  • Ability to travel 25%

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $112,500 to $140,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
