Hardware Technician
Location: New Jersey (Onsite/Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY: Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment and test equipment.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Knowledge of various computer software and hardware platforms at FAA sites and in general.
Skill in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing specific data. Ability to use variety of instrumentation techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Be experienced with hand tools and small power tools. Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma with technical school. BS or Associates degree is preferred. 5-7 yrs. related experience and/or training. Experience using electronic test equipment.

Position's Title: Hardware Engineering Manager (hands on)

Required Skills:
- 10-15+ years of overall experience in Hardware Engineering
- 5+ as a manager of Hardware engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in EE CE Math or Science
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, logic & protocol analyzers and MS office
- Experience with Multi-layer circuit board design using OrCAD layout (understanding of basic principles of ME, OrCAD layout and OrCAD Schematic Capture)
- Working knowledge of Embedded C/C++ programming and UNIX,LINUX, windows-based systems
- Must have strong oral and written communication and Documentation knowledge
- VHDL hardware programming skills
