Job description


Provide a full range of support in the production and dissemination of finished geospatial intelligence to provide guidance for the design, layout, color management, and presentation of graphics. Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms. Working familiarity with electronic publishing and structured authoring software (SGML, HTML, and XML languages). Demonstrated expertise using the following applications: Adobe lnDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat. Demonstrated aptitude in working with current, industry-standard electronic publishing computer systems, applications and databases. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies. Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community, specifically imagery collection and exploitation.
Required Skills and Education
Requires 10+ years of relevant graphic design experience along with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, or any Liberal Arts or technical degree where graphic arts or digital image processing is core to the degree OR at least seven years of graphic design experience without the above-specified degree. Possess expertise with electronic publishing applications-Microsoft Office Suite, QuarkXpress, Adobe lnDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe Acrobat; structured authoring software-SGML, XML, and HTML; basic print-based and web-based design principles; Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the IS Intelligence Community - specifically imagery collection and exploitation.
