Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Sheltair, a privately-held company with locations in FL, CO, GA, and TX seeks an imaginative, resourceful individual that can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, This position supports the company's marketing and branding efforts by managing visual design projects and coordinating the purchase and placement of advertising across multiple channels. The role oversees social media visuals and content execution while producing and sourcing creative materials for promotions, advertising campaigns, event and convention displays, instructional resources, and other branded assets. Work spans print, digital, web, and multimedia formats, with responsibility for coordinating with designers, printers, media outlets, and other vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and cost effectiveness. The position also provides administrative and project support, offering hands-on exposure to a wide range of marketing, advertising, and brand management skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Graphic layout/design of promotional/marketing materials including advertisements, newsletters, brochures, Eblasts, manuals, web pages, point-of-purchase displays, exhibit graphics, multi-media presentations, and more
  • Coordinate the development, production, and procurement of graphic design and advertising materials across print, digital, web, and multimedia platforms
  • Support the PR and Community Specialist with visual content execution for Sheltair social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
  • Oversee all of Sheltair's social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) this includes content planning, content creation, scheduling, and posting
  • Primary point of contact for internal customers looking for logos, photos, or video assets
  • Management and organization of creative assets
  • Content creation at internal and external events
  • Creation of Weekly Stand up
  • Negotiate and purchase advertising placements across appropriate media channels and track schedules, specifications, and deadlines
  • Point of contact for any and all advertising opportunities including digital and traditional mediums
  • Promotion and protection of SHELTAIR Brand integrity
  • Oversee the creation and ordering of promotional materials for events, conventions, and on-site marketing displays
  • Develop, implement, and maintain email marketing campaigns for internal and external customers through our marketing tools: Canva, HubSpot, and/or any other marketing distribution channels
  • Collaboration with internal marketing and sales team and our external marketing and creative agency on program development and marketing plans
  • Customer interaction and support
  • Reports regularly to marketing director on marketing initiatives throughout the network
  • May staff trade show and promotional events as needed
  • Work closely with various vendors and publications; such as, AvFuel, AIN, AirNav, Aviation Pros, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of graphic design
  • Competency/experience with office and graphic design software including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office suite, Photography a plus
  • Competency /experience with digital environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to collaborate and contribute in meetings/discussions
  • Strong work ethic; ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Requires self-direction, tact, politeness and professionalism
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English, second language a plus
  • 25% travel required
EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree
  • Minimum of one year experience as a marketing coordinator for an advertising or PR agency or other large company with multiple concurrent projects.
