Location: Charlotte NC, Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL (Hyrbrid)

Job Overview:
The Software Engineer IV oversees the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role ensures systems run smoothly, monitors system applications, and creates reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions. The position is part of the Technology department.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
  • Install and configure systems and other software.
  • Test installed software for malfunction detection.
  • Identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing applications, software, and operating systems.
  • Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
  • Monitor and test system performance.
  • Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and efficiency.
  • Maintain full ownership of processes and may act as a procedural expert.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
Skills and Competencies:
