Job description

Job Description Role: Engineer, Structural (TS) Contract Duration: 05/01/2026 - 12/31/2026 Work Location: Saskatoon, SK - M-F 40 hours Years Experience: Intermediate and/or Senior Role Description / Key Responsibilities Perform structural engineering design work on various projects executed within Cameco Experience with design of steel members and framing for structural steel and/or wood design. Experience with design of reinforced concrete structures. Knowledge of applicable codes (NBCC, NFCC) and standards ( CSA N393, CSA S16, CSA A23.1 &2, A23.3 and A23.4)

Knowledge and familiarity to run structural analysis using STAAD_PRO software as well as performing design calcs with MATHCAD software and/or excel sheets. Work with structural and architectural designers for CAD work in support of development of 3D models and 2D drawings including all construction details. Develop and revise technical specification, work on scope of supply, BOMs, MTOs, CWPs and construction work packages Projects will be based at Cameco's Northern Saskatchewan and/or Ontario sites.

Individual will be required to visit occasionally to these sites (as required). Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (structural) and registered with APEGS as P.Eng. Registration with PEO is considered an asset

Experience with steel, concrete and wood structures design as well as design of supports for building services (pipe racks, cable tray supports etc.). Corporate based: Training /Qualification Activities To be assigned and completed in ISN prior to attending to a Cameco safety-sensitive site (Northern SK sites) o Location Specific Site Orientation o Surface - Pre Access OR Underground - Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test).
