Job Summary

- Under minimum supervision provides high level technical expertise in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software.

- Conducts and is responsible for the effective development of a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Undertakes highly complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge in software testing.

Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

- Education: Bachelor's degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience: 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

- None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
