Position Summary:

The ServiceNow System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform within the organization. This incumbent ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the ServiceNow platform, supporting business processes and technology solutions that enable the organization to deliver seamless IT and business services. The ideal candidate is technically adept, analytical, and has a passion for optimizing workflows and service delivery using the ServiceNow platform.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for, as the ServiceNow platform owner, staying up to date on technological enhancements to the platform to collaborate with leadership to develop strategy and budgeting to support business operations.
  • Ensuring the platform runs smoothly by applying updates, patches, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
  • Ensuring data integrity, managing data import and export processes, and creating reports and dashboards to analyze platform usage and performance.
  • Addressing and resolving technical issues and providing support to users encountering problems with the platform.
  • Manage User/group adhering to principles of least privileged
  • Implementing security measures and ensuring the platform adheres to relevant security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for the design and building of ServiceNow Applications and integration with other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Follow, maintain and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures and process throughout ServiceNow development.
  • Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
  • Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required for the growth and advancement of Everwise.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, and data model.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow's ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Understanding user and role management, list and form configuration, and data import.
  • Building and managing workflows to automate tasks and processes within ServiceNow
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service standards and behaviors, as well as encourages, coaches and monitors the same in staff.
  • Consistently promotes teamwork and direct communication with team members and be able to function independently as well as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related curriculum or equivalent work experience in a technological field or demonstrate equivalent work experience knowledge.
  • 2+ years' experience in ServiceNow workflow development.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, or Asset Management.
  • Hands-on implementation and support experience with ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience working with implementing and supporting the following ServiceNow platform features/functions including CMDB, Asset, Service Catalog, Workflows, Knowledge, Incident, Problem and Change
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds when necessary.

Preferred Requirements:

  • ServiceNow Partner accreditations and/or micro certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundations Certification
  • Certified ServiceNow Developer
