The overall objective of the department in which this position works is:

The objective of the Data Entry Department is to ensure every frame repair order is accurately logged, tracked, and updated in our system. We provide the essential data foundation that drives our repair workflow and supports our service to our customers.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00

The major function of this position is:

Enter into the computer accurately and quickly the daily sunglasses returned for repair and credit.

The essential responsibilities and duties of this position are:

  • Accurately and efficiently process entries into SAP and route to the correct department.

  • Maintain the required entries-per-hour standard to support departmental efficiency and turnaround times.

  • Assist Repair Technicians and Customer Service teams with locating packages and communicating special requests.

  • Proactively contact customers or shipping agents when incomplete information is provided or when packages are received damaged.

Other Duties:

  • Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.

Desired Qualifications

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

High school graduate with 1-3 years customer service experience.Technical or data entry background.

Listed below are the particular skills preferred for this position:

  • Attention to detail.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Typing - 40 w.p.m.

  • Strong customer service skills.


Special Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings.

  • Ability to lift 10lbs

  • Ability to work on a computer terminal.

  • Close visual acuity required to read computer screens, technical notes, tracking numbers, and to inspect packages for damage

  • Ability to remain in a seated or standing position at a workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours a day) while operating a computer
