Job description

  • In an efficient and accurate manner, performs typing for the Maintenance Manager, upon request.
  • Proof all typed documents for content, grammatical errors, spelling errors, typing errors and proper format before returning to the author.
  • Appropriately and promptly distributes all correspondence.
  • Maintain a hard copy of documents and/or saves to computer file as requested.
  • Maintain logical filing systems and accurate records on requisitions and purchase orders, allowing for easy retrieval of documents.
  • Update weekly maintenance schedules.
  • Schedule prompt and proper disposal of garbage containers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of files and correspondence.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record accurate and complete messages from callers.
  • Perform general payroll duties, such as totaling each employee’s time and after obtaining manager’s approval, submit to payroll by the weekly deadline.
  • Maintain construction records on IAP projects
  • Maintain Permit and their support records for all required testing.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
