JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeping Supervisor assist the Director of Housekeeping to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas in accordance to Brand standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent and two years in Housekeeping in a Hotel or similar Supervisory

experience.

JOB ESSENTIALS

Completes beginning / ending shift procedures which includes proper opening and closing of the house utilizing computer systems

Assigns daily work tasks to Room Attendants.

Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.

Inspect guest rooms to ensure the cleanliness standards and proper amenity and literature placement have been met. Provide a clean, safe and well-maintained guest room for all guests of the hotel.

Ensure 100% positive inspection rate on guestrooms and floors

Follow daily sign-in / out key control

Follow-up on daily assignments of subordinates

Update room statuses in the computer.

Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.

Interact with other hotel departments to achieve guest satisfaction

Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.

Ensure check out/vacated rooms are a priority.

Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

Inspects the level of cleanliness in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms, public areas and all office areas

Reports and tracks all lost and found items

Documents and communicates maintenance requests to the Engineering Department to ensure that the Hotels Quality Service Levels are being

Follow proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules. Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively

Perform other duties as assigned.
