Mechanical Seal Assembly Technician


Location: Coraopolis, PA

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Seal Assembly Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art mechanical seal assembly and service facility in Coraopolis, PA. This role is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical seals used in pumps and other rotating equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with precision components in a manufacturing or repair environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical seals and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Inspect seal components prior to assembly to ensure quality and proper fit
  • Perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Assist with testing and inspection of completed seal assemblies
  • Maintain proper cleanliness during assembly to protect seal faces and components
  • Follow assembly procedures, technical instructions, and safety guidelines
  • Identify and report defects or assembly issues to supervisors or quality personnel
  • Assist with disassembly, repair, and refurbishment of returned mechanical seals when required
