Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an experienced Assembler II to join its Packaged Engineered Systems group in Waller, Texas..

As our new Assembler II, you will be assembling engineered fluid handling package systems for customers in the commercial building, industrial, petrochemical, and energy industries at our Peerless Pump facility in Waller, TX. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Packaged Engineered Systems team, you'll create impact by Building reliable, precision-engineered pump systems that serve critical fire protection, industrial, and municipal applications across 145 countries..
Your main responsibilities include:
• Assemble and align piping systems including grooved, flanged, and threaded pipe configurations per engineering specifications
• Fit, tack-weld, and assemble components while assisting in mounting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Assemble and align conduit for electrical systems and assist with wire pulling as needed
• Assist in precision leveling and alignment of equipment using measuring instruments and gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper compliance documentation
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs, frequently grasp tools, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stand and walk when performing duties
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance and peripheral vision
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled factory environment.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with manual, power-driven, and pneumatic hand tools, as well as material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, cranes, hoists)
It is a plus if you also have:
• Experience with piping assembly and alignment (grooved, flanged, or threaded pipe)
• Familiarity with tack welding and fitting components
• Basic computer skills including MS Windows, Outlook, and tablet usage

The salary range for this position is $44,900-$59,460. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Waller, Texas.
