Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Description

The Production Assembler works in the assembly department building small electronic components for a variety of finished units. In this role, you follow detailed work orders, use hand and power tools, and perform basic computer tasks to ensure products meet quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small electronic parts and components according to written work orders and established procedures.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Operate basic production and assembly equipment as needed to support manufacturing processes.
  • Perform general production and general labor tasks to keep the assembly line running smoothly.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a climate-controlled, clean, and well-maintained manufacturing facility focused on assembling small electronic components. Employees may sit or stand while performing their duties, depending on task and preference. The role requires wearing company-supplied smocks and ESD (electrostatic discharge) equipment at all times in designated areas to protect sensitive electronic parts. Work involves the use of hand and power tools, basic production machinery, and computers for reading work orders and entering simple data. Standard shifts include a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, a second shift from 3:45 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and a weekend (4th) shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, working 36 hours. The facility operates with clear processes, safety guidelines, and structured schedules to support consistent production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
