Group: Bridge
Position: CAD Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Our Bridge group is looking for someone who is passionate about drafting and works well in a fast paced environment to join our team. This fast paced and exciting position will provide an opportunity to learn on the job while working on some the region's best bridge projects. This CAD Technician will work with the engineering team to develop plan sets for large road and bridge projects across Indiana.
Responsibilities
  • Develop CAD drawings for bridge construction projects
  • Prepare quantities and bills of materials for bridge components
  • Manage time effectively to meet fast paced deadlines
  • Work as part of a growing team to provide a quality product for our clients

Qualifications
  • High school graduate required
  • Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field preferred
  • Experience with Autocad or similar design software
  • Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred
  • Experience with rebar detailing preferred, but not required
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Other duties as assigned
